Valleys, poetry, magic… Santa Mare, Wines of Chile
Between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean at the ends of the earth, embedded within a long and narrow strip of land lie the crossed Valleys, with privileged, warm, temperate climates, winter rains and a prolonged dry season, allowing for the cultivation of unique fruits that serve as the lifeblood of our products.
Amidst the marvel of these landscapes and their fruit, poetry is inspired and is naturally created by men and women of the valleys. Two Nobel Prizes, awarded to Pablo Neruda and Gabriela Mistral attest to this, with the likes of Vicente Huidobro, Pablo de Rokha, Nicanor Parra, Roberto Bolaño and various other poets hailing from the region, all of whom have created important works from these noble “raw materials”.
With a perfect climate, unique fruits, and exceptional beauty, a communion is produced – magic – which allows for the creation of an elixir we know as wine. The marriage of the best grape juices produced and processed in our tanks and barrels by following recipes from our ancestors results in a unique experience, only by letting time do its work.
Santa Mare wines of high quality and excellence, in both Premium and Reserve varietals: the best of Chile to be shared with the world.
